Braves Country Caravan – Day 1 Recap Vlog

What a great way to start the 2010 Braves Country Caravan with a visit to Fort Benning, Georgia.  We had an incredible time with the men and women of the Wounded Warriors Batallion and Operation Homefront.  And the Braves fans in Montgomery and Auburn – what a reception you gave us too!  Kris Medlen, Freddie Freeman, and Chino Cadahia have a message for everyone we met today.

Thank you again for making the first day of the Braves Country Caravan such a success!

Braves playing ball at the Ted today and a message for fans from Tommy Hanson

Several Braves were at the ballpark this morning hitting in the cages and throwing outside on the field. Braves coaches Terry Pendleton, Glenn Hubbard, and Brian Snitker were here as well, and they’re all looking forward to the Caravan!  Tommy Hanson and Kris Medlen came in to throw, as did Peter Moylan, recently back in the USA from his home in Australia.  Tommy had a message he wanted to share with fans, so check it out below!  And if you want to hear the sound of Spring, check out the video of Clint Sammons in the cage!

The countdown begins

The stops have been announced, and hopefully we’re coming to a town close to you!

Bringing the Braves to you is really important, but just as important is our commitment to continue to raise awareness regarding the help needed in Haiti.

We’re hoping that having the American Red Cross at so many of our events will help, as well as having a contingent of players, coaches, alumni at MedShare in suburban Atlanta to sort and pack much needed medical supplies and ship them off to the people who need them the most.

We hope you come out to our stops and that you post your memories, photos, etc. so that all the other Braves fans can enjoy them as well!
